Steven Sahlender

Steven Sahlender, Vice President of Operations – Alaska Group

Shareholder Steven Sahlender serves as Vice President of Operations for the Alaska Group. Steven joined Goldbelt at the end of 2013. The Alaska Group includes:

  • Goldbelt Security
  • Goldbelt Lands Management
  • Goldbelt Tram
  • Goldbelt Transportation
  • Goldbelt Seadrome

Steven served for 20 years in the Air Force, and upon retirement he flew small drones for a government contractor for three years. He then worked as a store manager for Home Depot before coming to Goldbelt. Steven started his career at Goldbelt with Nisga’a in Kuwait as a project manager, later moving to Goldbelt Falcon in Chesapeake, VA as a Program Manager. He later was hired for a Senior Business development position in Charleston, SC with Peregrine, and then moved over to CP Marine as Director of Operations before taking the position in Alaska.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Organizational Management and a Masters of Business Administration.
